Water Treatment


Hunton's can offer fabrication services or a complete turnkey package for a diverse range of water Treatment plant and river flow and control equipment such as tipping buckets, CSO Screens, Clarifier units, Detroiters and aeration tanks as well as the manufacture and maintenance of Flood and radial lock gates (see case study), penstocks and sluice mechanisms both powered and manual.



This page shows typical water treatment and control Plant such as stainless steel rundown screens (above left) and a pair of grit rake units (above centre). At the top to the right we have a radial gate on the river Medway after refurbishment. One of several in which the company has been involved. (see case study). Below left we have a refurbished sluice gate dating from the 1930's in Guildford and directly below a 5 metre long 500LT/M tipping bucket designed and built by ourselves pictured on test in our yard.

Below left, we have an aeration tank manufactured in 3mm thick stainless steel and painted for cosmetic reasons. Below center we have the centre of a bridge scraper unit and below right is a 7x3m CSO screen in 304 grade stainless steel.
