Pipework & Vessels


In addition to manufacture we can also offer full design and drawing facilities to produce pressure vessels and pipework to conform with PED5500 Specifications. We can offer pipework fabrications in mild and stainless steels from 1/2” upwards and pressure test these as required. We offer full welder certification as required for MMA, MAGS, TIG and orbital welding with gas purging for improved penetration and weld quality to suit a particular customers requirements.

Pictured on this page we have a pair of PD 5500 Cat 3 Pressure vessels (top left) in 10mm thick mild steel on test at 28Bar. (Top centre)this Is another Category 3 vessel in 6mm thick Material. (top right) We have a photo taken during fabrication of a 316 grade stainless steel heat exchanger for a sewage treatment works. This consisted of a 3” NB pipe in side a 4”. This was welded entirely by the TIG process with Argon used to purge the lines. The whole system was then tested to 24Barg.

Bottom centre and left we have a parts of a system used for chemical processing used in the manufacture of television screens. The vessel (one of three) was fabricated in 10mm thick stainless steel with an outer water jacket for cooling and the above bank controls flow into and out of the spray nozzles. Below right we have various sections of 8”NB stainless steel pipework Installed on site at Chertsey STW for conveying hot sludge from the digesters.
